Payment and Cancellation

Our preferred method of payment is by cheque, in UK pounds, drawn on a UK bank, and made payable to 'SIFD'.  Electronic transfers, in UK pounds, can be made direct to the SIFD account — enquire first (see Home for contact details).  Payment by PayPal to the SIFD account can only be accepted if the PayPal fee is paid by the participant — enquire first.  If you wish to pay in Euro cash on arrival, you must get agreement from us first.

On cancellation, for that part of the fee which is set by the University for accommodation and meals, participants will be charged any cancellation fees charged by the University to SIFD.  No charge will normally be made for cancellation at least 3 weeks before the course.  That part of the fee covering teaching and admin, etc, is refundable (less non-returnable deposit) as follows: cancellation on or before 20 June, 100% refund, before 2 July — 80%, before 9 July — 60%, before 16 July — 40%, before 23 July — 20%, and after 23 July — no refund.
